SHEQ Management System:

Our Safety management system is designed to manage safety elements in our scope of work. The main purpose of our system is to implement and monitor safety and compliance to all our laboratories. The system is put in place for goal setting, planning and measuring performance, it includes legal required documents to be used for all purposes (Safety,Quality,HR,Technical and operations) as well as company procedures,work instructions,policies etc.

Health and Safety plan:

VAS health and safety plan is directed at identifying all planned and unplanned risk and activities with the purpose and objective to eliminate, treat, transfer, minimize, mitigate and investigate incidents and injuries that occur on site.

The scope also addresses legal compliance, hazard identification and risk control by promoting working environmen tthat is safe and healthy amongst employees involved in the project and all those individuals who may be directly and indirectly affected by the activities of the project taking place.

Training and induction:

It is the priority of VAS management to ensure that employees are trained and made aware of hazards and risks in the work place, there fore employees will be trained in health and safety requirement associ-ated with their work activities.

Competency:

It is the commitment of VAS to ensure that employees are equipped with relevant training to carry out their tasks as safely and healthy as possible.

Awareness:

Awareness campaigns are important in promoting health and safety within the organization, boosting staff morale and showing management commitment; therefore, VAS management conducts regular staff meetings where improvements and concerns are conversed between management and staff. We have new health and safety slogans every month to promote awareness this information is communicated  with employees during these staff meetings and placed on notice boards at all laboratories.
