The laboratory has an effective quality management system. The management part of the system is responsible for the management of all the undertakings done and expected from the laboratory and to interact with the customers while the Technical part is responsible for the hands on operation of the laboratory on the scope of work, equipment calibration, validation, verification status, training and the competency of the laboratory staff.

The formation of Vitrovian Analytical Services (VAS) was concieved as a response to the dire need for a commercial coal analytical service that would provide high quality and accurate coal analysis results to the mines’ stakeholders in and around the Delmas Area.

ABOUT US

In late 2014, Vitrovian Analytical Services (VAS) was established. In 2015 February, we officially opened our doors; with our laboratory that is conveniently located in the heart of Delmas within the proximity of the majority of mining houses in the region.

Our mission is simple: we aim to deliver cost effective and accurate services.

We have a team of highly competent Technicians and Operators that analyze samples at the laboratory, providing our clients with the utmost attention to accuracy, reputable methodology and reliable operational procedures. We have a state-of-the-art laboratory that complies with local and international standards, these include: ISO/IEC17025: 2017 requirements.

We are a company of diverse expertise; we are fusing young minds with the wisdom of the more experienced minds by providing internship to our progressive youth.

We have cultivated the spirit of togetherness within our operation, because we find strength in numbers.

To promote skilled people within the surrounding community, VAS has some initiatives that it does for example: The Cell C Take A Girl Child toWork programme, for workplace exposure. VAS also becomes part of conducting Progressive Business Forum Exhibitions to enable exposure of small entrepreneurs to business markets and environments.
